Yahoo looking into news app

The CES yesterday witnessed the unveilling of a brand new Yahoo app dedicated to news. Yahoo News Digest was created by Nick D'Aloisio, the 17-year-old who famously sold his company to Yahoo for around $33 million. The new app is based on Summly, the news app founded by D'Aloisio himself. News Digest gives you the news twice daily - once in the morning and once in the evening. Each top story (based on multiple news sources) also features something called"atoms", which are little bits of information (quotes, tweets, videos, etc) that relate to the story in question. With only 9 stories shown at each time, you get a progress feature that will tick off the articles you read. The app is available in the Apple App Store from now.
