Welcome to the "Instagram Hotel"

A boutique hotel in Sydney in Australia has been designed with Instagram addicts in mind. Called the ‘I888 Hotel’, the five-story accommodation has a view at every level, and all elements brought in have been deemed ‘Instagram-worthy’ before being made part of the décor. An iPad is available in each of the 90 rooms, and free WiFi is available throughout the entire vicinity – after all, how else will visitors be able to ‘Instagram’ their experience?

The first thing visitors see upon entrance is a spot where they can take ‘selfies’ as part of the check-in procedure – these then become part of a digital mural of Instagram shots. Guests who have more than 10,000 followers or Instagram – or those who take the best pictures during their stay at the hotel – can win a free night’s stay.

The 1888 hotel is priced at US$140 per night, which doesn’t put it too far out of reach of the average Instagram addict.
