Study shows you are more likely to survive a plane crash than click a banner ad

How often do you stumble across a banner ad? They seem impossible to get rid of, no matter how many times you click the X button. It seems that you are not alone: advertising agency Solve Media has released a report noting that most people do not click on banner ads - in fact, it makes some pretty interesting insights. "You are 31,25 times more likely to win a prize in the Mega Millions than you are to click a banner ad," for example.

The report continues along this line: "You are 97.8 times more likely to apply to Harvard and get in", "112.50 times more likely to sign up for and complete NAVY SEAL training", "279.64 times more likely to climb Mount Everest" and "475.28 times more likely to survive a plane crash." How they managed to wrangle these stats, we cannot be sure, but anyone who hates banner ads (and that is mostly everyone) is certain not to question them.
