It may not be time to secure your place in line outside the Apple Store yet, but rest assured that the next iPhone is on its way to you in the not-too-distant future. According to certain reports, Apple may only be a few short weeks away from sending the iPhone 6 into production.

Chinese-language news outlet the Commercial Times reported this week that Apple would soon begin production of its next flagship phone. Thanks to a translation provided by Reuters, it now seems clear that component manufacturer Pegatron is recruiting new employees to help build the iPhone 6. According to the Commercial Times, production is scheduled to begin during the second quarter of this year.

Apple has declined to make any comments about the production of their new phone, and no details about the smartphone’s features or design have been released to the public. It is widely believed that the iPhone 6 will have a larger display than any of its predecessors.
