Nvidia uses crop circles for promoting

Marketing at Nvidia took an exterrestrial turn - and sparked a lot of mystery. In order to promote the new Tegra K1 processor, the graphics technology company created a crop circle in Salinas, California. The company failed to mention they were behind it when an assorted mix of journalists, tourists and UFO obsessees turned up to gawk at it. The many news reports that followed the crop circle pointed out that '192' was written in Braille, for reasons beyond anyone - which Nvidia have admitted links to the fact that the new processor contains 192 graphic cores. While the stunt did gain a lot of attention, it may have been for all the wrong reasons, with aliens becoming the subject of the hype rather than the processor itself.
