Leaked Email Confirms iOS 7 Release

Earlier this month, reports leaked that Apple would be introducing their newest smartphone models, the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C during an event on September 10th. Whilst it was assumed that the new iOS 7 would be debuted along with the iPhones, there was no confirmation of this until an email leaked yesterday. With so much leaked information, the upcoming releases are sure to cause a stir amongst Apple fans in the weeks until September 10th.

The source of the information is an email from software development company Nuance, which was acquired by Apple to further develop the vocal recognition software for Siri. Since the source is one so close to Apple’s inner circle and with the release of Apple’s newest smartphones only around the corner, many believe that the leak is legitimate and trustworthy.

The email, which was sent to developers within Nuance confirmed the September 10th release before encouraging developers to conduct extra tests on their SpeechKit software to ensure that it would work smoothly with Apple’s new operating system.
