How to use Google Search as an online timer

Did you know that you could use Google Search as a timer? There are two very simple ways to go about it.

1. Either enter the timer command in the search box through the format 'timer for <time>' (e.g. 'timer for 3 hours 5 minutes 10 seconds').

2. Or simply search for 'timer' and input the time you need manually.

With either option, Google will let you know when time is up by playing a noise. Very nifty!
