Time for a little seasonal Google Easter egg! Type “let’s go caroling” into Google on any mobile browser and you’ll get your own portable Christmas Carol karaoke machine right on your smartphone. The words and music of 5 classic Christmas songs are available for anyone who feels like an impromptu caroling session with their friends.

Since the holidays are a time for everyone to be happy and celebrate together, this fun Easter egg is available on all mobile browsers, so you can enjoy it no matter what product you use. Carolers using Google can hear music and read scrolling lyrics for Jingle Bells, Up on the House Top, Deck the Halls, O Christmas Tree, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.

This festive little Easter egg is actually one of Google’s many hidden tricks and inside jokes which developers have been creating and dotting through various platforms and apps for years. Our personal favorites is typing “Google in 1998” into the search bar to see the website as it originally appeared, but there are always new hidden features to discover and share.
