Sony's PlayStation 4 has not let up its lead in the U.S. yet, with it placing first in the best-selling consoles list for the fourth month running. Microsoft's Xbox One is tailing in second place with 115,000 units sold, although it is unclear how big the gulf is given that Sony has not published figures yet. According to reports, combined sales of the PS4 and Xbox One have beaten sales of the PS3 and Xbox 360 by more than twice as much, in the same period of time.

Following a huge amount of user requests, Google has decided to include PayPal as a payment method in the Play Store. Customers in 12 countries can use their PayPal accounts to buy apps, games, music, and movies. Research company IHS Inc have discovered that Google's famed wearable only costs $150. Considering you're expected to shell out ten times the amount for Glass, that's quite a signficant difference. According to IHS, the frame supporting Glass is the most expensive, and is valued at a mere $22. Hot on its heels is the square glass lens, at $20. 1 billion people use the Gmail Android app

Gmail has just been confirmed to be the largest Web-based email service in the world. According to Android Police, Gmail's Android app has reached the one billion download mark on the Google Play Store.
