The current curved screen hype has apparently hit Apple. According to anonymous sources two models are in the works, with screens of 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches respectively. Along with this are rumors that the company is developing “pressure-sensitive technology” hand-in-hand with the new curved screens. This technology won’t be ready by the next iPhone launch, and will most likely be launched with the new models in the third quarter of 2014.

Apple is the latest company to be linked to the curved screen trend. Samsung was the first to release its own model in the Galaxy Round phone, with its 5.7 inch curved display. Hot on Samsung’s trail is LG and the G Flex Phone, which is curved from top to bottom and due for release soon.
